Davenport University won their third consecutive Division 2 Championship in Simsbury, CT on Saturday, defeating Central Connecticut State University in the title game, 12-4. Adam Thomas and Jeff Slusser were named tournament co-MVPs. Davenport will now be making the jump to Division 1 for next season.

Saginaw Valley State won their second straight Division 3 title in Estero, FL, beating Hope College 6-4 in the championship game. Cardinals goalie Jake Chaillier was named tournament MVP.
Lions Go Back to Back

Lindenwood University won their second straight Division 1 Championship Wednesday in Bensenville, IL, beating Iowa State 2-0 in the title game. Lions goalie Robi Cavallari recorded the shutout, and forward Cory Spradling was named tournament MVP.
ACHA Takes It Outside

On a cold and clear Saturday afternoon in winter, hockey is played outside on frozen ponds in locales such as Minnesota and New England. But how about New Jersey? On Saturday January 9th that is exactly what happened. With the state firmly clamped in the grip of winter, Rowan University and UMBC squared off in the first game played outdoors in the history of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.

While the NHL's Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings are battling it out on the ice the January 16th in Dallas the Oklahoma Sooners and Minot State Beavers of North Dakota will be lacing their skates up waiting for their turn to take the ice.
While the 13-6-3, 7th ranked Sooners will be looking to improve their current ranking and possible seed at the National Tournament the 16th ranked Minot State Beavers come in needing some wins to get them into the top 13 and send them back to Natio
