I think that there are women's teams that could be described at each of these levels. Some could compete at the Sr. A level and some could not. There are some teams that play and win at the Div III Varsity level. Right now the top 4 spots in each division are tight. It is going to go down to the wire. Here is the 4th set up rankings from the web site:

4th Ranking Period
Team (First place votes), points received.

West Region
1. St. Cloud State University (4), 27pts.
2. University of Wisconsin, 24pts.
3. Arizona State University, 19 pts.
4. University of Colorado (1), 17 pts.
5. University of Minnesota, 14 pts.
6. Iowa State University, 5 pts.

The University of Arizona is not eligible for this ranking as they have not turned in their player eligibility form.

Highest possible points this week in the West Region = 28
One committee member did not vote.


East Region
1. University of Michigan (6), 32 pts.
2. Penn State University, 27.5 pts.
3. University of Pittsburgh, 24 pts.
4. University of Maryland, 20 pts.
5. Michigan State University, 14 pts.
6. Clarkson University, 10 pts.

Rutgers University and the University at Buffalo are not eligible for this ranking as they have not turned in their player eligibility form.

Highest possible points this week in the East Region = 32
One committee member did not vote.
