And according to the ACHA website, the results of the Buffalo-Penn State brawl are.

Both teams are on probation for the remainder of the season, not affecting rankings or bids to nationals unless either team does something to warrant upgrading the probation to suspension.

The following Buffalo players received DQs:
#17 Cox
#20 Brown
#35 Brett
#30 Hutton

The following PSU players received DQs:
#4 McDevitt
#16 Shaw
#23 McVicker

#11 Lavelle for PSU received a DQ, 4 game suspension and individual probation for the next year.

Why Lavelle was the only player to get a suspension I have no idea, from my vantage point at the melee Lavelle didn't do anything worse or less than anyone else. If anything, the Buffalo player who started the brawl with a cross-check after the game was over should be the one to get the suspension, not Lavelle.

But hey, what do I know, I was only there and saw it all happen and unfold.
